About IGNTU:
Indira Gandhi National Tribal University is a central university established by an act of the Parliament of India (IGNTU act, 2007) and started functioning in the year 2008. The university has more than 33 departments under 14 different faculties. IGNTU has the main campuses at Amarkantak and a regional campus at Imphal, Manipur. The university is imparting high-quality education and training to students through rigorous classroom teachings and laboratory, skill-based training under the supervision of highly talented and qualified teachers with outstanding academic credentials.
About DACE:
Dr. Ambedkar Centre for Excellence (DACE) is established at Indira Gandhi National Tribal University, Amarkantak with financial support from the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment. DACE focuses on training the students belonging to scheduled caste for competitive exams, particularly Civil Services. The Centre facilitates the students to provide high-quality, rigorous coaching with the help of qualified teachers. The Centre extends updated information and reading materials related to the syllabus of the UPSC and gives them the opportunity of getting proper counseling and all support for preparing for the competitive examinations.
